We are looking for a talented Underground Cable Design Engineer to prepare high-
quality engineering designs and drawings for underground cable projects. The role will
involve cable routing, cable sizing, cable schedules, design calculations, and
coordination with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver protected, reliable, and
eicient power infrastructure solutions
Job Summary
Underground Cable Design Engineer to prepare cable routing, cable sizing, design
calculations, cable schedules, and electrical drawings for power transmission and
distribution projects. The candidate will coordinate with electrical and civil teams to
ensure designs meet project specications and applicable standards.
Educational Qualication Candidates
B.E./B.Tech/Diploma in Electrical Engineering or a related eld.
Good knowledge of Underground Cable Design, Cable Routing, and Cable Sizing.




Prociency in AutoCAD and MS Oice.
Ability to read and prepare electrical engineering drawings.
Experience:
5-10 years experience in Underground Cable Design / Electrical Design.

Key Responsibilities
Prepare underground cable routing and layout drawings.
Perform cable sizing and design calculations.
Prepare cable schedules, cable lists, and electrical drawings.
Design and coordinate cable trenches, ducts, and crossings with the civil team.
Prepare and modify drawings using AutoCAD.
Review project specications, technical requirements, and design standards.
Coordinate with electrical, civil, and project teams for design requirements.
Check drawings and calculations for accuracy and compliance.
Support site teams with technical clarication related to cable installation.
Ensure designs are completed within project requirements and timelines.
