- Conduct topographical, pit, bench, dump, boundary and volumetric surveys.
- Prepare/update mine plans, sections, layouts and statutory survey plans.
- Calculate coal & OB quantities, volumes, RLs, coordinates and excavation progress.
- Operate Total Station, DGPS/GNSS, Auto Level and Drone/UAV survey equipment.
- Prepare 2D/3D mine models and designs using Surpac, MINEX/MineScape, AutoCAD, Civil 3D and GIS.
- Process survey data and prepare reports using MS Excel and relevant survey software.
- Coordinate with Mining, Planning and Geology teams for mine development and production activities.
- Ensure survey work complies with applicable DGMS/statutory requirements.
Preferred: Experience in opencast coal mining with knowledge of Surpac/MINEX, AutoCAD, DGPS and Total Station.
