Key Responsibilities

Enterprise Architecture & Governance

- Define and maintain enterprise architecture blueprints across applications, data, integration, and infrastructure.
- Establish architecture principles, standards, frameworks, and guardrails.
- Align technology strategy with business roadmaps and long-term growth plans.
- Conduct architecture reviews and provide design approvals.

System Design & High-Volume Architecture

- Design scalable and distributed systems capable of handling high transaction volumes.
- Architect solutions for high availability, fault tolerance, scalability, and resilience.
- Define caching, data partitioning, queuing, and event-driven architecture patterns.
- Drive system performance and optimization strategies.

Cloud-First Architecture

- Lead cloud-native architecture and design across AWS, Azure, and/or GCP.
- Design solutions for elasticity, autoscaling, observability, security, and cost optimization.
- Implement Infrastructure as Code using Terraform, ARM Templates, or CloudFormation.
- Define cloud governance and multi-account/subscription strategies.

Microservices & API Strategy

- Design scalable microservices-based architectures.
- Define API standards, API gateway patterns, and service mesh strategies.
- Drive containerization and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
- Apply Domain-Driven Design (DDD) principles and bounded contexts.

Data & Integration Architecture

- Design data platforms supporting analytics, AI/ML, and operational workloads.
- Define integration patterns using REST, gRPC, messaging, and event streaming.
- Architect real-time and streaming solutions using technologies such as Kafka and Azure Event Hubs.
- Ensure data governance, lineage,



security, and compliance.

Security & Compliance

- Embed security-by-design principles across architecture and engineering.
- Define IAM, network segmentation, and Zero Trust architecture.
- Ensure solutions comply with enterprise security policies and applicable regulatory standards.

DevOps & Reliability Engineering

- Design CI/CD strategies and automated deployment pipelines.
- Define observability standards covering logs, metrics, and distributed tracing.
- Drive Site Reliability Engineering practices, including SLAs, SLOs, and error budgets.

Stakeholder & Leadership Engagement

- Collaborate with business and technology stakeholders to translate business requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Provide architectural guidance and mentorship to engineering teams.
- Influence technology decisions and provide executive-level technical direction.
