Job Summary

Position: System Architecture Proposals Engineer. Location: Pune.

Responsibilities

- Analysis of Customer Requirements
- Analyses RFQs (Request for Quotation) from customers.
- Ensure the specifications of proposals meet the customer's requirements and needs.
- Costing and Proposal Development
- Prepare costing using standard processes and tools based on inputs such as specification documents, PIDs, layout drawings, IO Summary, BOQ, etc.
- Prepare offer documentation consistent with data provided by the sales team.
- Bid Preparation and Delivery
- Help deliver a winning bid with a transparent scope, accurate technical and commercial commitments, within the defined tender budget.
- Prepare system architectures, technical submittals, and compliance/deviation lists.
- Tracking and Communication
- Maintain tools to track status and completion daily.
- Update the sales team on progress, obstacles, and delays on a daily/weekly basis.
- Sales and Client Support
- Assist the sales team during technical and commercial clarifications pertaining to proposals with clients.
- Provide benchmark data from similar bids.
- Participation in Reviews
- Participate in weekly reviews.

Requirements

- Technical Skills: Proficient in PLC, field instruments, electrical control/MCC panels, and SCADA/BMS software concepts.




- Proficient at evaluating specification documents, PIDs, layout drawings, IO Summary, etc.
- Proven expertise or ability to learn and excel very quickly with new BMS/EMS platforms.
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently while also collaborating with different teams.
- Able to take decisions in complex contexts based on imperfect or missing conditions.
- Adaptable to sales stage situations and capable of supporting the sales team.
- Able to work under pressure with tight schedules.

Qualifications

- Min. graduate in BE, Diploma, MSc (Electrical/Instrumentation)
- Relevant Experience: 4-6 years
- Demonstrated ability to analyze technical documents, layouts, and specifications.
- Hands-on experience or proven capability to adapt to emerging BMS/EMS platforms.
- Proven track record of managing responsibilities in high-pressure environments and collaborating across teams.
