Head- Actuarial Reserving.

Role Summary:

Handle actuarial reserving and regulatory reporting for various lines of General Insurance.

Responsibilities:

Perform monthly/quarterly reserve calculations, estimate IBNR and ultimate losses, conduct Actual vs Expected analysis, investigate unusual claims/large losses/catastrophes, and present reserving results. The role also handles IRDAI-related reporting such as IBNR, FCR and STNL, improves data-quality controls and reserving processes, automates reporting, reviews junior analysts work, and coordinates with Claims, Underwriting, Finance, Reinsurance, IT and Operations.

Requirements:





- Atleast 3-6 years Reserving experience in General Insurance or GI consulting.
- Good progress in actuarial examinations.
- Strong analytical/statistical skills and Excel proficiency.
- Comfortable with ResQ, SAS and Python.
- Strong communication, presentation, model-validation and stakeholder-management capability.
- Understanding of the GI market, regulatory workplace and product/commercial considerations.
