- Cashier Duties: Process cash, card, and digital payments, issue bills or receipts, and manage the cash register or POS system.
- Reconciliation: Count drawer cash at the start and end of shifts, balance daily collections, and report any discrepancies.
- Accounting Tasks: Maintain petty cash logs, record journal and ledger entries, and assist with monthly bank reconciliations.
- Vendor & Customer Support: Handle customer billing queries, process refunds or exchanges, and assist with basic vendor documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or a bachelors degree in commerce/accounting (B.Com) preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software like Tally or QuickBooks.
- Core Competencies: Solid basic math skills, high attention to detail, and honesty/integrity in handling funds.
- Experience level (fresher or experienced)
