Job Summary
Role Title: Labour Compliance / Statutory Compliance Executive
Location: On-site - Bengaluru, KA
Experience: 2 to 6 years of relevant experience
Education: Bachelor s degree in law (LLB), B.Com, MSW
Scheduled Weekly Hours: 48
Key Responsibilities
- Statutory Compliance: Manage compliance under Karnataka-specific and central acts like the Karnataka Shops and Commercial Establishments Act, Payment of Wages Act, and Minimum Wages Act etc.
- Payroll Statutory Oversight: Coordinate with HR and finance to ensure accurate, timely processing and filings for PF (Provident Fund), ESIC (Employees State Insurance), Professional Tax (PT), and Labour Welfare Fund (LWF) etc.
- Contract Labour Management: Oversee compliance for third-party vendors and contract workers, ensuring proper licensing, wage distribution, and record maintenance under the Contract Labour Act etc.
- Audits and Inspections: Plan and execute internal compliance audits, host external statutory inspections,
and fix identified gaps immediately.
- Licensing and Registrations: Handle end-to-end applications, renewals, and display of statutory licenses or establishment registrations
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Knowledge Base: Solid understanding of Indian labor frameworks and emerging draft state rules under the Labour Codes.
- Communication: Excellent Kannada and English verbal and written communication skills for dealing with local labor authorities.
- Analytical Skills: High attention to detail for managing registers, filing returns, and tracking statutory updates
