Role & responsibilities

We are looking for a KST Supervisor to supervise the day-to-day kitchen stewarding operations at our Central Kitchen. The role will ensure high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, sanitation, and proper handling of kitchen equipment and utensils.

Preferred candidate profile

- Supervise daily Kitchen Stewarding (KST) operations at the Central Kitchen.
- Ensure proper cleaning and sanitation of kitchen equipment, utensils, work areas, and common areas.
- Allocate duties and supervise the stewarding team.
- Ensure timely cleaning and availability of utensils and equipment for kitchen operations.
- Monitor the proper use and storage of cleaning materials and chemicals.
- Maintain hygiene and sanitation standards as per company SOPs and food safety requirements.
- Ensure proper segregation and disposal of kitchen waste.
- Monitor the cleanliness of floors, drains, sinks, storage areas, and other kitchen facilities.
- Conduct regular checks to ensure cleanliness and hygiene standards are maintained.
- Coordinate with the Kitchen and Operations teams for smooth daily operations.




- Maintain basic records related to cleaning, chemicals, equipment, and stewarding activities.
- Ensure proper use of PPE and adherence to workplace safety procedures.
- Train and guide team members on cleaning, hygiene, safety, and sanitation practices.

Candidate Profile

- 24 years of experience in Kitchen Stewarding / KST, preferably in a Central Kitchen, Bakery, Hotel, Restaurant, QSR, or F&B; setup.
- Good knowledge of kitchen hygiene, cleaning, and sanitation practices.
- Experience in handling and supervising a stewarding team.
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and proper cleaning procedures.
- Good communication and team-handling skills.
- Ability to work in a quick-paced kitchen environment.
- Knowledge of food safety and hygiene standards will be an advantage.
