We are seeking an analytical, detail-oriented, and proactive Accounts Executive to handle day-to-day statutory and operational accounting at our Madurai office.

Role & responsibilities

- Core Accounting: Handle day-to-day accounting entries, including Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring complete compliance with GST and Income Tax laws.
- Taxation & Postings: Manage and process Goods and Services Tax (GST), Reverse Charge Mechanism (RCM), and freight-related postings.
- TDS & TCS Management: Accurately process, maintain, and reconcile Tax Deducted at Source (TDS) and Tax Collected at Source (TCS)

- Statutory Filings: Assist in the preparation and filing of monthly GST returns and quarterly TDS returns.
- Reconciliation & Audits: Conduct regular accounts reconciliation, prepare financial reports, and support the management team during audits and legal compliance activities.
- Software Adoption: Learn and efficiently operate the company's customized in-house accounting software.

Preferred candidate profile

- Education: B.Com, M.Com, CA Inter, or equivalent degree in finance/accounting.
- Language Proficiency: Fluency in both Tamil and English is required.
- Technical Skills: Foundational knowledge of GST, RCM, TDS, TCS, and general ledger reconciliation.
- Industry Preference: Preference will given to candidates who have prior experience working in a Pharmaceutical Manufacturing facility.
- Location Criteria: Must reside in Madurai or be fully willing to relocate to Madurai.
