Role Purpose

The role is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, high-performance digital applications using NodeJS-based backend services and NextJS frontend frameworks. The associate will work across the full development lifecycle and contribute to delivering secure, reliable, and user-centric solutions for Energy, Resources & Utility and Life Sciences customers.

Key Responsibilities

- Design, develop, and maintain backend services using NodeJS
- Develop server-side rendered and client-side applications using NextJS
- Build and integrate RESTful APIs and backend services
- Apply vibe coding practices:
- Clean, readable, and expressive code
- Solid focus on maintainability, performance, and scalability
- Ownership beyond implementation-quality, resilience, and user experience

- Work with databases (SQL / NoSQL) as per application needs
- Follow Agile/Scrum development practices
- Participate in code reviews, design discussions,



and sprint ceremonies
- Collaborate with Business Analysts, QA, UX, and DevOps teams
- Support CI/CD pipelines and assist in cloud-native deployments
- Contribute to production support, enhancements, and continuous improvements

Technical Skills

Frontend Technologies

- NextJS (SSR, routing, data fetching, performance optimization)
- ReactJS
- JavaScript / TypeScript
- HTML5, CSS3, Responsive Web Design

Backend Technologies

- NodeJS
- REST API development and integration
- Microservices based architecture (working knowledge)

Database

- RDBMS: SQL Server / MySQL / PostgreSQL
- Exposure to NoSQL databases (MongoDB preferred)

DevOps / Platform

- CI/CD concepts (Azure DevOps / Jenkins working knowledge)
- Version control using Git
- Cloud exposure (AWS / Azure preferred)
- Docker (working knowledge)

Engineering & Coding Expectations (Vibe Coding)

- Write clean, self-documenting, and maintainable code
- Apply performance optimization and security best practices
