Role: Workday Security Lead / Architect

About the Role:

We are hiring a Senior Workday Security Architect with 12-20 years of overall experience to own and govern Workday Security design across the enterprise.

You will be the final authority on security architecture, domain/security policies, and compliance for large-scale global Workday deployments.

Key Responsibilities:

Own end-to-end Workday Security architecture for HCM, Financials, Payroll, Recruiting, and other domains Design and manage Domain Security Policies, Business Process Security,

Role-based & User-based Security, Segregation of Duties (SOD)Lead security design for recent implementations, mergers, divestitures, and global rollouts Define and enforce ISU/ISG, Security Groups (Role-based, User-based, Intersection, Aggregation)

Handle SOD conflicts, audit controls, and SOX compliance in Workday Lead security for M&A;, org restructuring, and large-scale data migrations Partner with HRIT, Internal Audit, Risk & Compliance teams for security reviews and quarterly audits Own security for integrations, reports, EIBs, Studio, and Prism access Lead security testing UAT, regression,



and audit validations Drive security optimization, cleanup of unused roles/domains, and least-privilege model Mentor security consultants and guide cross-functional teams on security best practices Act as escalation point for all Workday security incidents and production issues Required

Skills:

12-20 years total experience, with 8+ years in Workday Security as Lead/Architect4+ end-to-end Workday implementations with Security as primary area Deep expertise in Domain Security, BP Security, SOD, Authentication & Access Management Strong experience with Workday HCM & Financials Security model Hands-on experience in Workday Security audit reports, security migration tools, and Kainos/Access Analyzer Workday Security & HCM Core

Certified Mandatory Strong understanding of SOX, GDPR, and data privacy regulations Excellent stakeholder, client-facing, and governance skills

Preferred:

Experience with Workday Access, Kainos Smart Audit, Identity & Access Management (IAM) toolsPrior experience in AMS + Implementation hybrid environmentExposure to Workday Extend and cross-functional module security
