Role & responsibilities

Key Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor OSD packing machines such as blister packing, bottle packing, carton packing, and labeling machines.
- Perform line clearance before and after batch activities as per SOP.
- Ensure packing activities are carried out according to BMR/BPR and cGMP requirements.
- Conduct in-process checks and maintain production records accurately.
- Coordinate with QA, QC, Warehouse, and Production teams for smooth batch execution.
- Monitor machine performance and report breakdowns or deviations to supervisors.
- Ensure proper reconciliation of packing materials and finished goods.
- Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the packing area.
- Follow safety procedures, GMP guidelines, and company policies.
- Support validation, qualification, and audit activities as required.





Educational Qualification

- B.Pharm / M.Pharm / B.Sc / M.Sc / Diploma in Pharmacy or relevant qualification.

Experience

- Operator: 01 to 05 years of experience in OSD packing operations.
- Officer / Senior Officer : 02 to 06 years of experience in OSD packing within a pharmaceutical manufacturing workplace.

Preferred candidate profile

- Knowledge of cGMP, GDP, SOPs, and pharmaceutical packing processes.
- Experience handling blister, bottle packing, and serialization systems.
- Good documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to troubleshoot basic machine issues.
- Teamwork and communication skills.
