Associate Programmer Hyderabad

Power Bi- 3-5 Yrs.

Experienced BI Analyst with strong expertise in Power BI and the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem. The candidate will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering data models, dashboards, and

reports that empower business stakeholders with actionable insights.

This role requires advanced proficiency in SQL, Semantic Modelling, and DAX, along with a solid understanding of enterprise data architecture.

Key Responsibilities

- Data Modelling & Integration
- Design and maintain semantic models for enterprise reporting.
- Integrate data from multiple sources into Fabric (OneLake)
- Working experience on dimensional modelling and creation of functional data marts
- Create, execute and optimize ETL and ELT pipelines
- Dashboard & Report Development
- Build interactive dashboards and reports in Power BI using advanced DAX measures.
- Ensure visualizations are intuitive, scalable, and aligned with business KPIs.
- Experience with Fabric Data Agents using Semantic Models
- SQL & Data Analysis
- Write complex SQL queries for data extraction, cleansing, and transformation.
- Optimize queries for performance and scalability.
- Stakeholder Collaboration
- Partner with business teams to gather requirements and translate them into BI

solutions.

- Present insights and recommendations to both technical and non-technical

audiences.

- Governance & Quality
- Monitor, and implement data quality across multiple stages of the data flow

pipelines and storage

- Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and compliance with governance standards.
- Conduct performance tuning of BI solutions and implement best practices.

Desired Qualifications

Education





B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, IT, Electronics, or related discipline.

Experience

46 years in PowerBI, SQL, Data Modeling, Dashboard design and implementation in complex

environments, with different data sources including ERP and CRM systems, SQL Sources, nonstructured and semi-structured data.

Technical and Soft Skills

- Strong proficiency in Power BI (data modelling, DAX, report building), PowerQuery and Excel.
- Hands-on experience with the Microsoft Fabric ecosystem (OneLake, Data Factory, ADLS Gen2)
- Advanced SQL skills for querying and data manipulation.
- Solid understanding of semantic modelling, star schemas, and data warehouse concepts.

Working experience on data lakehouses with medallion architecture is an advantage.

- Experience in ETL & ELT processes and integrating diverse data sources.
- Knowledge of Spark/PySpark would be added advantage
- Solid analytical mindset with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Exposure to Azure Data Services (Azure SQL, Synapse, Data Factory).
- Knowledge of data governance, security, and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with performance optimization in BI solutions.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
