JD for L1 Support Engineer:

Functional Requirements: Loan Origination (in house built) and Loan Management Systems (M2P Fin Flux, Lend Perfect, FinnOne etc) for education loan onboarding, processing and management.

Technical Requirements: Support experience on Java, Spring boot, React JS, MS BI for reports, ETL, Postgres DB.

Responsibilities:

1. Application Maintenance: L1 support engineers are responsible for the maintenance of applications, including ensuring their availability, reliability, and scalability.

2. Troubleshooting: They are responsible for troubleshooting and resolving issues related to applications, including application crashes, performance issues, and other technical problems.

3. Incident Management: L1 support engineers are responsible for managing incidents and ensuring that the appropriate resolution is provided in a timely and effective manner.

4. Root Cause Analysis:



They are responsible for identifying the root cause of incidents and implementing measures to prevent their recurrence.

5. Bug Fixing: L1 support engineers are responsible for fixing bugs in applications and ensuring that they do not reoccur.

6. Problem Management: They are responsible for problem management, which involves identifying the root cause of recurring incidents and implementing measures to prevent their recurrence.

7. Customer Communication: They are responsible for communicating with customers regarding their issues and providing updates on the status of their requests.

8. Documentation: L1 support engineers are responsible for creating and maintaining documentation related to applications, including installation guides, user manuals, and troubleshooting guides.
