Job SummaryWe are looking for a detail-oriented Sports Data Entry Executive with positive knowledge of major sports, including Cricket, Football, NFL, NHL, Tennis, Kabaddi, Baseball, and Basketball. The candidate will be responsible for collecting, entering, updating, and verifying sports-related data accurately and within required deadlines.

- Key ResponsibilitiesEnter and update live and historical sports data accurately in internal systems.
- Monitor matches, tournaments, leagues, and competitions across multiple sports.
- Collect information such as scores, player statistics, team details, fixtures, results, standings, line-ups, and match events.
- Verify data from reliable sources and identify incorrect or missing information.
- Maintain accuracy and consistency of sports databases and content platforms.
- Track live match events such as goals, wickets, runs, cards, substitutions, points, penalties, periods, sets, and other relevant statistics.
- Update match information quickly during live games.
- Research sports information online and cross-check data before publishing.
- Coordinate with the content and operations teams to resolve data-related issues.
- Follow established data-entry procedures, quality standards, and deadlines.
- Handle multiple sports and matches simultaneously when required.





Sports Knowledge RequiredThe candidate should have a good understanding of the rules, terminology, scoring systems, and basic statistics of:

- Cricket
- Football / Soccer
- Basketball / NBA
- NFL / American Football
- NHL / Ice Hockey
- Tennis
- Kabaddi
- Baseball / MLB
- Required SkillsStrong knowledge and genuine interest in sports.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Good typing and data-entry skills.
- Ability to work quickly with large amounts of information.
- Basic knowledge of Excel, Google Sheets, and web-based data-entry systems.
- Good internet research skills.
- Ability to identify and correct data errors.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willingness to work in rotational shifts, weekends, and during live sporting events.
- Preferred QualificationsGraduate or equivalent qualification.
- Previous experience in sports data entry, sports content, sports websites/apps, or data operations is preferred.
- Candidates with experience following multiple international sports will be preferred.
- Freshers with strong sports knowledge and good computer skills can also apply.
