Role & responsibilities

Design, develop, enhance, and support enterprise-grade applications using Java 21+, Spring Boot, Spring Framework, REST APIs, and microservices architecture.

Create scalable, secure, resilient, and maintainable backend services and integrations.

Lead technical design discussions, contribute to architecture decisions, and translate business requirements into effective technical solutions.

Build and optimize data-access components using JDBC, SQL, JPA/Hibernate, stored procedures, and database performance-tuning techniques.

Work extensively with Oracle databases, including schema objects, complex SQL queries, joins, indexes, transactions, query plans, and performance optimization.

Apply secure coding practices, including authentication, authorization, input validation, secrets management, and mitigation of OWASP Top 10 risks.

Develop unit, integration,



and component tests using JUnit, Mockito, and related frameworks.

Participate in code reviews, CI/CD implementation, production troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, observability, and continuous improvement.

Mentor developers, promote engineering standards, and collaborate with architects, product owners, QA, DevOps, security teams, and business stakeholders.

Work flexibly across business hours when required to support releases, production issues, stakeholder meetings, and distributed teams, in accordance with organizational policies.
