Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team. The candidate should have robust hands-on experience in Advanced Excel, Power BI, and SQL, with the ability to analyze data, identify trends, prepare reports, and provide meaningful business insights.

Key Responsibilities

- Analyze and interpret large datasets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Prepare and maintain reports and dashboards using Advanced Excel and Power BI.
- Perform data cleaning, validation, transformation, and reconciliation.
- Create and maintain Excel-based reports using advanced formulas and functions.
- Work with VLOOKUP, HLOOKUP, XLOOKUP, INDEX-MATCH, Pivot Tables, Power Query, IF functions, and other advanced Excel features.
- Write and execute SQL queries to extract, filter, join, and analyze data from databases.
- Develop interactive dashboards and visualizations using Power BI.
- Perform data validation and ensure accuracy and consistency across reports.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand reporting and data requirements.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and analysis based on business requirements.
- Document reporting processes and maintain proper data/reporting documentation.

Required Skills

- Strong proficiency in Advanced Excel.

- Advanced Excel formulas

- Data Validation and Data Cleaning

- Good knowledge of Power BI, including dashboard creation and data visualization.
- Strong understanding of SQL and database concepts.
- Knowledge of SQL queries such as SELECT, WHERE, JOIN, GROUP BY, ORDER BY, subqueries, etc.
- Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Good communication and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills

- Knowledge of Power BI data modeling.
- Experience with ETL/data transformation processes.
- Knowledge of Python for data analysis is an added advantage.
- Experience working with large datasets is preferred.

Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, or a related field.
- 1 to 4 years of relevant experience in Data Analytics, Business Analytics, MIS, or Reporting.
