Job Description:

- We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Principal Infrastructure Engineer with a robust focus on IBM MQ administration and extensive experience in data center migration projects. The ideal candidate will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our infrastructure, ensuring seamless data flow and system reliability during migration processes. This position requires a proactive approach to problem-solving and a deep understanding of infrastructure management best practices.

Responsibilities:

- Administer and maintain IBM MQ environments, ensuring high availability and performance.
- Lead data center migration projects, coordinating with cross-functional teams to ensure successful execution.
- Develop and implement strategies for optimizing IBM MQ configurations and performance.
- Monitor and troubleshoot IBM MQ issues, providing timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
- Collaborate with application teams to ensure proper integration and functionality of IBM MQ within the overall infrastructure.
- Document processes, configurations, and best practices related to IBM MQ and data center operations.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior team members and stakeholders.
- Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in infrastructure management and IBM MQ.





Mandatory Skills:

- Strong expertise in IBM MQ administration, including installation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
- Proven experience in managing data center migration projects, with a focus on minimizing risk and ensuring data integrity.
- Solid understanding of infrastructure management principles and best practices.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams.

Preferred Skills:

- Familiarity with cloud technologies and hybrid cloud environments.
- Experience with automation tools and scripting languages.
- Knowledge of security best practices related to IBM MQ and data center operations.
- Certifications related to IBM MQ or infrastructure management.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Relevant certifications in IBM MQ or infrastructure management are a plus.
