Marine Engineering & Trade Services (METS) is looking for an ambitious and results-driven Business Development Manager to identify new business opportunities, develop strong customer relationships and drive the companys commercial growth.

The selected candidate will be responsible for business development, market research, lead generation, client acquisition, proposal preparation and commercial negotiations. Candidates with experience in marine engineering, defence, industrial equipment or technical sectors will be preferred.

Key Responsibilities:

- Identify and develop current business opportunities.
- Conduct market and competitor research.
- Generate, qualify and convert business leads.
- Develop and maintain strong client relationships.
- Identify suitable tenders and commercial opportunities.
- Prepare business proposals and presentations.
- Negotiate commercial terms and close business deals.
- Coordinate with internal teams for smooth execution.
- Maintain sales pipelines and CRM records.
- Achieve assigned revenue and business-growth targets.
- Develop long-term partnerships with customers, OEMs and suppliers.

Educational Qualification:





- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Commerce, Marketing, Engineering or a related discipline.
- MBA in Marketing or International Business will be an added advantage.

- Strong presentation, pitching and professional communication skills.
- Self-motivated, proactive and capable of working independently.
- Willing to work from Sri Vijaya Puram (Port Blair).
