We are looking for an experienced and proactive Senior Executive - Transport to manage and optimize employee transportation operations while ensuring safety, compliance,
cost efficiency, and service excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Transport Operations Management
- Oversee end-to-end employee transportation operations including cab management, bus services, route planning, scheduling, and vehicle deployment.
- Ensure seamless, timely, and safe transportation services across all shifts and locations.
- Monitor daily transport activities and implement process improvements for enhanced efficiency.
Vendor & Stakeholder Management
- Coordinate with transportation vendors and service providers to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Manage vendor performance, service quality, contractual obligations, and SLA compliance.
- Collaborate closely with HR, Administration, Facilities, Security, and other internal stakeholders.
Reporting & Cost Optimization
- Prepare and maintain transport MIS reports, utilization reports, billing summaries, and management dashboards.
- Track transportation budgets and monitor operating expenses against allocated budgets.
- Identify opportunities for cost reduction while maintaining service quality and employee satisfaction.
Compliance & Governance
- Ensure adherence to company policies, statutory regulations, and transportation compliance requirements.
- Manage audits, documentation, internal controls, and regulatory reporting.
- Monitor driver compliance, background verification, permits, licensing, insurance, and vehicle fitness certifications.
Fleet & Technology Management
- Oversee vehicle maintenance schedules and fleet documentation.
- Manage GPS tracking systems, transport management software, and monitoring tools.
- Ensure accurate tracking and effective utilization of transport resources.
Safety & Incident Management
- Promote a safe transportation environment by ensuring compliance with safety standards and procedures.
- Handle transport-related escalations, incidents, and employee concerns in a timely manner.
- Support emergency preparedness and response protocols related to transportation services.
Strategic Planning
- Support business growth initiatives by developing scalable transportation solutions for new locations, business units, and shift expansions.
- Recommend operational improvements and automation opportunities to enhance service delivery.

Strong understanding of transport operations and fleet management
Experience in vendor management and contract administration
Knowledge of transportation compliance, safety regulations, and audits
Budgeting, cost control, and MIS reporting expertise
Proficiency in GPS tracking and transport management systems
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and coordination skills
Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
