Job Title: Senior Manager- FP&A;
Immediate Manager: Senior Director- FP&A;

Position Location: Goregaon East, Mumbai

1. Purpose of the Job:

- The Senior FP&A; Manager is a valued business partner within the company and therefore delivers operational support to improve performance. Understanding of historical impacts, to help guide forward looking improvement and consistency in reporting/expense attainment/
- Monthly / Quarterly / Annual forecast and budget analysis and commentary (via PowerPoint summary)
- Monthly forecast coordination and update
- Annual Budget input & reconciliation
- Ad hoc financial requests and the potential for other financial project work as needed

2. Context and main issues :

- Internal customers submitting invoices via AP portal that should have gone through the fixed asset portal to be amortized properly (also accrual vs. cash base accounting corrections)
- FTE movement and impact vs. target and forecast. Can also involved allocation of labor in whole or in part.
- Project analysis and Example, function would like X software at Y cost to return Z
- GL level review of P&L; at both operational view as well as global function view (often requires analysis within PowerBI reporting, as well as SAP front end (JE entry view).
- Unit Creation, maintenance, and rationalization we have hundreds of units setup over time. In some cases, these are necessary for special states in the US (and where an office does not exist). In other cases, we really do not need as many as we have and should rationalize them in order to streamline processes and review.
- Accrual determination Reading and understanding a corporate agreement to determine if an accrual is necessary and valid. We often get requests at FYE to accrue X,



but in reality what the business user has requested gets denied because it would not follow proper IFRS/GAAP accounting. The Sr. Manager would then educate the user/requester to explain what can be accrued and why.

3. Key Responsibilities & Assignments:

- Month end close reporting (which may include directing accruals as needed)
- Monthly review with assigned internal customers (YTD actuals, vs. budget, vs. forecast). Establish a relationship with the business owner to act as a trusted resource for project planning (while keeping an eye on their budget and forecast).
- Unit creation, maintain ace, and rationalization
- Ad hoc reporting as directed by the Sr. Director of Finance, VP of Finance, and/or CFO region NORAM
- Work in a Matrix organization with many users across multiple countries and time zones
- Work with an understand large intercompany invoice requests and reconciliation
- General P&L; management for specific support areas (example: if assigned to HR, helping HR meet their budget and forecast goals. Identify risks and potential opportunities).
- Update budget (annual) and forecast (monthly) in multiple tools (longer term we would like to have 1 tool for this, but that is not available at the moment so there are multiple overlapping inputs).

4. Accountabilities:

- Provide accurate and on-time month-end close support to internal customers, and leadership
- Support quarterly, half year, and annual business reviews as needed
- Maintain and update financial reporting tools and support documents




- Able to locate, interpret and explain supporting information to outside stakeholders
- Support Sr. Director of Finance in various ad hoc tasks related to forecast, budget, audits, etc.

5. Experience & Qualifications:

- 5 years of financial experience with the day-to-day financial operations of a mid-to-large-sized company.
- 3 plus years of progressive finance experience and leadership roles.
- B.S. in Accounting or Finance preferred
- MBA and/or CPA preferred

Technical/ Hard Skills:

- SAP/Essbase Usage (can understand and decipher journal entries to analyze, direct, and or correct as needed)
- Advanced Excel (xlookup, pivot tables, PowerQuery for consolidation and repeat analysis)
- Large data sets in EDW (data can come from multiple tools that do not talk to each other and may need to be combined in order to provide a cohesive analysis). Understanding relational data such as a primary key will allow the user to take data dumps and translate them into an actionable summary
- Practical use of AI and examples of how used and the savings created (also how they validated for accuracy).

Behavioral/ Soft Skills:

- Financial storytelling ability to turn complex numerical data into clear, engaging, and actionable narratives for non-financial stakeholders
- Proven ability to build cohesive relationships with other professionals across the organization
- Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgement
- Has a solid sense of urgency and personal commitment, and is decisive, confident, open and candid
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Problem solving and collaboration skills
- Fluent in English (Spanish and French would be a plus, but not necessary)
