Role & responsibilities

- Provide technical assistance to the Dean and ADPI(s)
- Review technical documents related to the Institute's infrastructure works to ensure compliance with applicable norms (GCC, GFR, Manual of Procurement of Works/Services, etc.)
- Review bid documents; carry out technical and financial evaluation of tenders
- Coordinate with stakeholders; conduct site visits and prepare site visit reports
- Conduct fact-finding on new technologies and feasibility studies (technical parameters, campus requirements, cost-benefit analysis, quotation comparison) for infrastructure projects such as STP & Waste Water Management, Hall Maintenance Strategy, Sanitation Upgradation, Pre-cast/Pre-fab structures, Construction & Retrofitting works, Resource Monitoring, etc.
- Develop and maintain a robust tracking system for works, tenders, bills and budgets
- Draft technical write-ups, note sheets, SOPs and presentations
- Manage external and internal audit queries

Preferred candidate profile

- B.Tech/B.E./B.S. in Civil Engineering with a minimum of 3 years' relevant experience; solid grounding in design, estimation, tendering, supervision and technical scrutiny of civil works as per Government/CPWD norms.
