Role & responsibilities

- Program, modify and fault-find PLC logic in TIA Portal on SIMATIC S7-1200/1500 controllers
- Develop and maintain HMI screens on SIMATIC Comfort Panels / WinCC, including operator interfaces, alarm handling and recipe management
- Configure and commission Sinamics servo drives and VFDs axis setup, parameter tuning, encoder feedback and speed/torque control
- Support electrical control panel design I/O lists, schematics, component selection and panel testing before dispatch
- Commission machines at our Noida works and at customer sites in India and overseas; hand over to the customer's team on site
- Provide remote diagnostics and customer support over VPN-based remote access
- Maintain standardized, documented and version-controlled PLC and HMI projects for every machine model and serial number
- Train customer maintenance teams and prepare operation, service and troubleshooting documentation
- Analyze recurring field faults and feed corrections back into the standard design

Preferred candidate profile

- 3-5 years of hands-on industrial automation experience,



predominantly on Siemens platforms
- At least 3-4 years specifically on TIA Portal with S7-1200 or S7-1500 programming, testing and commissioning, not supervision
- Practical experience commissioning Sinamics servo drives or VFDs end-to-end, including parameter setup, encoder configuration and fault resolution
- Has personally commissioned at least [510] machines from works testing through customer site acceptance

Technical knowledge

- TIA Portal — structured programming in LAD, FBD or SCL; FB/FC/DB organisation; version management
- SIMATIC S7-1200/1500 hardware — CPU selection, module configuration, Profinet networking
- Sinamics G/S series drives — basic to intermediate commissioning; Startdrive familiarity preferred
- HMI development — Comfort Panels or WinCC; screen design, alarm management, recipe handling
- Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics independently
- Basic industrial networking — Profinet, switch configuration, IP addressing
