Position 1: Head of Department (English)

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead and manage the English Department across secondary and senior secondary grades.
- Design, implement, and monitor curriculum plans aligned with educational standards.
- Mentor and support English teachers through regular observations, feedback, and professional development initiatives.
- Drive academic excellence and improve student outcomes in Grades IXXII.
- Coordinate assessments, examinations, and departmental activities.
- Foster innovative teaching methodologies and a culture of continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with school leadership to achieve academic goals.

Position: PRT / TGT English

Key Responsibilities:

- Teach English to Primary/Middle School students in alignment with the CBSE curriculum.
- Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate, and activity-based English lessons.
- Develop students listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills.
- Foster strong vocabulary, grammar, comprehension, communication, and creative writing skills.
- Encourage students to express themselves confidently through discussions, storytelling, presentations, role plays, and other interactive activities.
- Use innovative teaching methodologies, stories, activities, and multimedia resources to make language learning engaging and meaningful.
- Conduct assignments, assessments, projects, and classroom activities to monitor student progress.
- Provide individual attention, constructive feedback,



and appropriate academic support to students.
- Encourage reading habits and develop an appreciation for literature and language.
- Integrate technology, art, and interdisciplinary activities into English lessons.
- Maintain academic records and contribute to school events, competitions, exhibitions, and enrichment activities.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and academic leaders to support the holistic development of students.

Eligibility Criteria

- Bachelors/Masters Degree in English or a relevant subject Mandatory.
- B.Ed. qualification preferred/mandatory as per applicable CBSE/school requirements.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant teaching experience preferred.
- Strong understanding of the CBSE curriculum and assessment practices.
- Excellent command of spoken and written English.
- Strong communication, classroom management, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to create engaging, activity-based, and experiential language-learning experiences.
- Passion for child-centric education and developing effective communication skills among students.
- Experience in lesson planning, student mentoring, project-based learning, and academic enrichment activities will be preferred.
