About Position:

We are seeking an experienced SAP Master Data Specialist to join our Data Governance and Transformation team. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in SAP Master Data Management, data governance, data quality, and process optimization. This role will be responsible for ensuring the integrity, consistency, and accuracy of enterprise master data while partnering with business, IT, and operations teams to drive data governance initiatives and continuous improvement programs.

What You'll Do:

- Manage and maintain SAP Material Master Data and related master data objects across enterprise systems.
- Define and support data collection, validation, reporting, and quality assurance processes.
- Collaborate closely with business users, master data stewards, PLM teams, and IT teams to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
- Create, update, validate, and govern SAP master data according to established standards and policies.
- Monitor data quality metrics and proactively identify data integrity issues.
- Perform root cause analysis on master data issues and implement corrective and preventive actions.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance data governance processes and data quality.
- Develop and maintain master data workflows, standards, and governance documentation.
- Ensure compliance with organizational data governance policies, procedures, and controls.
- Support business process improvements related to data creation, maintenance, and governance.
- Gather and document business requirements for system enhancements, integrations, and master data process improvements.
- Participate in system implementation, enhancement, migration, and transformation initiatives.
- Support user acceptance testing, data validation, reconciliation, and deployment activities.
- Partner with IT and Operations teams to identify automation opportunities and streamline master data processes.




- Develop training materials and conduct knowledge-sharing sessions to promote master data best practices.
- Create reports, dashboards, and governance metrics to monitor master data quality and compliance.
- Support cross-functional teams in resolving data-related business issues.
- Contribute to enterprise data governance and master data management strategies.

Expertise You'll Bring:

- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Supply Chain, Engineering, or a related discipline.
- 7-12 years of experience in Master Data Management, Data Governance, or SAP Master Data roles.
- Strong hands-on experience with SAP Material Master Data management and governance processes.
- Thorough understanding of data quality management principles and master data lifecycle processes.
- Experience identifying process gaps and implementing process improvement initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy.
- Experience defining data standards, governance frameworks, and quality controls.
- Ability to investigate data issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement sustainable solutions.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams including Operations, Supply Chain, Procurement, Product Management, and IT.
- Strong knowledge of master data governance tools, workflows, and compliance requirements.
- Experience supporting system implementations, integrations, and data migration initiatives.
- Familiarity with Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) systems and master data processes.
- Experience with Centric PLM or similar product management platforms is preferred.
- Strong documentation, process mapping, and business analysis skills.




- Ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and collaboration capabilities.
- Experience driving user adoption and promoting data governance best practices.
- Knowledge of retail, consumer goods, beauty, manufacturing, or product lifecycle environments is an added advantage.
- Exposure to enterprise data transformation and digital modernization initiatives is preferred.
- Experience working in Agile project environments is beneficial.
