SENIOR UI/UX DESIGNER

About the Role

We're looking for a Senior UI/UX Designer to lead the design of intuitive, engaging, and visually compelling digital experiences. You'll own design decisions across products, collaborate closely with product managers and engineers, and mentor junior designers while pushing the bar on craft and user-centered thinking.

Responsibilities

- Lead end-to-end design for web and/or mobile products from research and wireframes to high-fidelity UI and interaction design
- Conduct and synthesize user research (interviews, usability testing, surveys) to inform design decisions
- Create user flows, journey maps, wireframes, prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups
- Develop and maintain design systems / component libraries to ensure consistency across products
- Partner with Product Managers to define requirements and translate business goals into design solutions
- Collaborate with Engineering to ensure design feasibility and pixel-accurate implementation
- Present design concepts and rationale to stakeholders and leadership
- Mentor and provide design feedback to junior/mid-level designers
- Advocate for accessibility (WCAG) and inclusive design best practices




- Stay current with design trends, tools, and emerging technologies

Requirements

- 5+ years of experience in UI/UX design, with a strong portfolio demonstrating end-to-end product design work
- Proficiency in design tools such as Figma, Sketch, or Adobe XD
- Robust understanding of interaction design, visual design principles, typography, and color theory
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing
- Familiarity with design systems and component-based design
- Working knowledge of front-end constraints (HTML/CSS/responsive design) — coding skills a plus, not required
- Excellent communication skills; ability to articulate design decisions to technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
- Bachelor's degree in Design, HCI, Fine Arts, or equivalent practical experience

Nice to Have

- Experience designing for both web and native mobile apps
- Familiarity with accessibility standards (WCAG 2.1)
- Experience with motion/prototyping tools (Principle, ProtoPie, After Effects)
- B2B SaaS/enterprise product experience, dashboard/workflow design
