Responsibilities

- Prepare and update Incoming Inspection Plans (IIP) based on drawings and specifications.
- Conduct incoming inspection of components and raw materials as per sampling plans.
- Handle quality inspection for IDU, ODU and Coil Shop components.
- Have knowledge of fabricated, powder-coated, copper, plastic, electrical and electronic components.
- Handle APQP, FMEA, DFM/DFA, Control Plan and PPAP activities.
- Evaluate recent suppliers and conduct supplier re-evaluation.
- Conduct reliability testing of components as per standards.
- Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues through root-cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Monitor field failures, line rejections and customer complaints and update inspection plans accordingly.
- Support calibration of inspection and testing equipment.
- Coordinate with RD/Design for drawing and component changes.
- Support BIS/IS standard requirements and documentation.




- Conduct supplier and internal quality awareness/training programs.
- Ensure compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and QMS requirements.
- Handle quality-related activities in SAP.
- Participate in Six Sigma, TQM, BIQ and continuous improvement activities.
- Conduct internal audits and support IMS requirements.
- Maintain quality records and reports using SAP and MS Office.

Requirements

- Knowledge of Supplier Quality and Incoming Quality Inspection.
- Knowledge of PPAP, APQP, FMEA and Control Plan.
- Knowledge of 7 Quality Tools and Root Cause Analysis.
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2015.
- Basic knowledge of SAP and MS Office.
- Good communication and problem-solving skills.
- Experience in AC/HVAC manufacturing will be preferred.
