Role Summary

Altimetrik is hiring Network Engineers to join a 24x7 Network Operations Centre, supporting a regulated, high-availability payments platform hosted on AWS.

You will investigate and help resolve day-to-day network issues, support incident calls, and assist with network changes, building toward greater ownership of cloud networking under the guidance of senior team members, as part of a rota bridging UK and APAC coverage.

Technical Skills & Experience

- Working knowledge of AWS networking fundamentals: VPC, Subnets, Routing.

- Familiarity with Palo Alto Networks firewalls, or comparable firewall technology.

- Exposure to Infrastructure as Code tooling (Terraform or CloudFormation) is an advantage.

- Basic scripting skills (Python or similar) beneficial.

- Foundational understanding of network security concepts: firewalls, VPNs, IAM.





Experience & Qualifications

2-5 years in network engineering or a related infrastructure role.

Certifications (Desirable)

- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner / Solutions Architect - Associate

- Cisco CCNA

Ways of Working

- Eager to build depth in cloud networking under senior guidance.

- Reliable and communicative during incident response.

- Comfortable operating on a rota basis.
