Job Purpose

The Estimation Engineer II will be responsible for preparing accurate material and product estimates for passive fire protection projects based on structural drawings, steel schedules, structural models and fire-engineering requirements.

The role will also involve reviewing and quality-checking estimates, quantifying structural steel, supporting Sales/KAM teams with technical estimation, interacting with clients, and providing technical inputs to help secure projects.

- B.E./B.Tech in:
- Civil Engineering
- Structural Engineering
- Mechanical Engineering

Experience

- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience
- Preferably in:
- Coatings
- Passive Fire Protection
- Fireproofing
- Structural steel
- Construction/engineering estimation

- Ability to read and interpret structural and architectural drawings
- Understanding of structural steelwork

3. Ideal Candidate Profile

The ideal candidate would be:

A Civil/Structural/Mechanical Engineer with 5+ years of experience in passive fire protection, structural steel estimation, fireproofing or coatings, who has hands-on experience interpreting structural drawings, quantifying steelwork and preparing material estimates using PlanSwift or similar software.

The person should also have enough technical understanding of PFP, structural fire engineering, Interchar/Chartek, cellulosic and hydrocarbon fire protection to support Sales and interact confidently with customers.
