About CAVA

CAVA is an Indian activewear and athleisure brand. We are looking for a hands-on Pattern Master with strong digital pattern-making skills, sewing knowledge and experience managing a sampling team.

About the Role

You will translate tech packs into accurate digital patterns and well-finished samples, while managing a sample department of approximately 10 tailors. The role requires an understanding of activewear silhouettes, garment construction, fit and stretch fabrics.

Key Responsibilities

* Develop digital patterns from tech packs, measurement charts and design references.

* Create 23 digital patterns per day, depending on style complexity.

* Take styles from tech pack to completed sample within 2–3 days, coordinating pattern development, cutting and sewing.

* Manage and guide a team of approximately 10 sample tailors, allocating work and monitoring quality and timelines.

* Apply robust sewing and garment construction knowledge to resolve sampling issues.

* Develop and refine patterns for activewear and athleisure silhouettes, accounting for stretch, recovery,



fit and ease of movement.

* Review sample fit with the design team and implement pattern corrections.

* Use CAD and Richpeace software for pattern development and marker making.

* Optimise marker efficiency to reduce fabric wastage.

* Maintain organised pattern files, revisions and approved patterns for production handover.

Required Skills & Experience

* Relevant experience as a Pattern Master in activewear, athleisure or stretch-knit garments.

* Strong digital pattern-making and CAD skills.

* Working knowledge of Richpeace software and efficient marker planning.

* Thorough understanding of sewing techniques, garment construction and sample development.

* Ability to independently interpret tech packs and translate them into patterns and samples.

* Experience supervising sample tailors and managing multiple styles within deadlines.

* Strong attention to fit, measurements, finishing and fabric utilisation.
