JOB Title : Lead OD & PMS
JOB PURPOSE
The role holder is responsible for strengthening organizational effectiveness and employee experience by designing, implementing, and continuously improving Performance Management, Career Architecture, and OD initiatives. The role ensures effective HR service delivery for entire organization, drives engagement, supports capability building on elements of building high performing culture, and enables fair, transparent, and data-driven performance and feedback mechanisms aligned with business goals
PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES
- Performance Management System (PMS)
- Own end-to-end implementation of the Performance Management System (Bi-Annual and Annual), including goal setting, mid-year reviews, year-end evaluations, PIP, and ratings calibration.
- Ensure alignment of individual KRAs with organizational and functional goals.
- Drive continuous improvement (CI) in PMS processes in line with market trends and evolving business needs.
- Support HR Head in reviewing, monitoring, and governing Bell Curve implementation across all verticals and sub-verticals.
- Manage PMS escalations in collaboration with HRBPs to ensure fairness, consistency, and compliance.
- Conduct PMS data analysis (rating trends, bell curve distribution, performance insights) and provide actionable recommendations.
- Define and execute structured change management approaches for PMS enhancements (e.g., core vs. flexi goals, UJR-based goals).
- SAP SuccessFactors (PMGM)
- Act as functional expert for SAP SF PMGM module covering KRA setting, mid-year reviews, PIP, and year-end performance cycles.
- Liaise with PwC SPOC to manage PMGM configuration, RBP, workflows, form routing,
and system enhancements.
- Ensure system readiness, data accuracy, and seamless execution of PMS cycles.
- Evolve PMGM module to balance user-centric experience and organizational performance outcomes
- Career Architecture & OD Initiatives
- Design, implement, and communicate a structured Career Architecture framework across the organization
- Drive Career GPS initiatives to enable employees career growth, internal mobility, and capability development
- Identify, recommend, design, and implement OD interventions to improve employee engagement, productivity, and retention
- Diagnose organizational issues and provide OD solutions in consultation with HR Head and HR leadership
- Drive awareness & utilization of Career Aspiration input from PMGM and Career GPS for employees, managers & HR partners
- Learning & Capability Development
- Partner with L&D; to design and execute learning interventions aligned to PMS outcomes and business priorities.
- Translate PMS insights and training needs analysis into targeted capability-building programs.
- Enable managers, employees, and HR teams through training and toolkits to drive high-quality performance conversations.
- Identify & create eLearning modules related to performance management & crucial conversations and drive coverage on those modules
- Employee Experience & Engagement
- Ensure effective feedback mechanisms throughout the performance cycle.
- Review and monitor PIP cases post-appraisal to ensure fair, constructive, and outcome-oriented interventions.
- Provide employee counselling to identify root causes of underperformance and initiate corrective actions.
- Strengthen linkages between PMS and other HR disciplines (L&D;, Compensation, Recruitment, ER, HRBPs).
- Monitor and execute PMS cycles in SAP SF PMGM (goal setting, reviews, PIP, year-end).
- Support managers and employees on KRAs, feedback, and performance discussions.
- Track performance data, bell curve outcomes, and rating trends; share insights.
- Manage PMS escalations and ensure fair, consistent feedback processes.
- Drive Career Architecture and Career GPS implementation across the organization.
- Partner with L&D; to address capability gaps identified through PMS outcomes.
- Liaise with PwC to manage PMGM configuration, workflows, and system readiness.
- Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives in PMS and OD processes.
- Participate in employee induction to conduct orientations session on PMS processes
9. Educational Qualifications
a) Qualifications
- Minimum Qualification required: Postgraduate degree / MBA in Human Resources, Personnel Management
b) Work Experience
- 812 years of experience in OD, PMS, or Talent Management roles.
- Hands-on experience in SAP SuccessFactors PMGM is mandatory.
- Robust exposure to Career Architecture, Bell Curve governance, and enterprise-wide PMS implementation.
