Job OverviewWe are seeking a practical, dependable individual to join our site operations team as a Site Guard & Auxiliary Operator. This role combines basic site security with straightforward, essential equipment care. In addition to securing the site, you will be responsible for switching site pumps and machinery on and off according to scheduled operations and ensuring daily maintenance and protection of the equipment.

No prior technical or security experience is required. Hands-on orientation and step-by-step training on equipment operation will be provided on day one.

- Key ResponsibilitiesPump & Plant OperationsPump Operation: Daily switching ON and OFF of site pumps (e.g., submersible pumps, dewatering equipment) based on work schedules or site requirements.
- Basic Maintenance & Care: Regularly clean, visually inspect, and care for pumps, valves, and surrounding equipment to ensure smooth operation.
- Operational Monitoring: Monitor pump operation during runs to check for abnormal vibrations, leaks, or power disruptions, and ensure water flow is running correctly.
- Generator & Utility Checks: Check and record fuel levels, oil levels, and power connections before starting generators or pumps.




- Site Security & GatekeepingControl gate access to ensure only authorized personnel, vehicles, and contractors enter the project site.
- Conduct regular perimeter rounds to safeguard tools, rebar steel, generators, and technical equipment against theft or damage.
- Lock and secure storage units, temporary site offices, and equipment gates at the end of operational hours or during night shifts.
- Reporting & Record KeepingMaintain a simple daily log of pump running hours, start/stop times, fuel usage, and visitor entries.
- Immediately report any equipment faults, pipe leaks, or security incidents to the Site Engineer/Manager.
- Qualifications & RequirementsExperience: 0 years / No prior experience required. Step-by-step training on pump operation and safety will be given on-site.
- Education: Basic literacy (ability to read simple labels/gauges and record basic times in a logbook).
