Job Title: Finance & Accounting Manager (Textiles Manufacturing – B2B)Role

Overview: We are looking for an experienced Finance & Accounting Manager to oversee financial operations for a B2B textiles manufacturing business. The role requires strong expertise in manufacturing finance, inventory accounting, cost control, and working capital management, along with ensuring compliance and supporting business growth.

- Key Responsibilities

1. Financial Reporting & Control: Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements

- Ensure timely closure of books and reporting to management
- Develop plant-wise and product-wise profitability reports
- Monitor margins across product lines and customers

2. Inventory & Working Capital Management:

- Oversee inventory valuation (RM, WIP, Finished Goods)
- Ensure accurate stock accounting and reconciliation
- Monitor slow-moving and obsolete inventory
- Optimize working capital (inventory days, receivables, payables)
- Coordinate with procurement and production teams

3. Accounts Receivable & Payable:

- Manage debtor ageing and collections (critical in B2B cycles)
- Evaluate customer credit limits and risks
- Ensure timely vendor payments and negotiate credit terms
- Improve cash flow through effective working capital strategies

4. Compliance & Taxation:

- Ensure compliance with GST, TDS, income tax, and other statutory requirements
- Manage internal and external audits
- Maintain strong internal controls and documentation

5. Banking & Tally work:

- Daily reconciliation of bank accounts.




- In-depth knowledge of Tally Prime software, e-way bill system, e-invoicing system and IT taxation websites.
- Maintenance of sales and purchase accounts in Tally Prime software
- Issuance of credit notes and debit notes from Tally Prime.
- Generation of e-way bills for daily despatches.
- Generation of e-invoices on a weekly basis.

6. MIS & Business Insights:

- Prepare MIS reports including:
- Plant performance
- Customer profitability
- Order-wise margins
- Support management with decision-making insights

Qualifications:

- CA / CMA / MBA (Finance) preferred
- 5–12 years of experience in manufacturing finance (textiles preferred)
- Robust exposure to costing, inventory, and working capital

Key Skills:

- Strong knowledge of cost accounting and inventory management
- Experience with ERP systems (Tally, SAP, Oracle, or industry ERP)
- Advanced Excel and financial analysis
- Understanding of GST and manufacturing taxation
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Strong stakeholder management (plant, sales, procurement)

- Working capital cycle (DSO, DPO, inventory days)
- Cost variance (standard vs actual)
- Gross margin improvement
