- Manage daily operations of the stitching unit to ensure smooth workflow.
- Monitor tailor productivity and achieve maximum line efficiency.
- Implement methods to reduce alterations, rework, and stitching defects.
- Coordinate with cutting, finishing, and quality teams for smooth production flow.
- Source fabrics, trims, accessories, and production materials from reliable vendors.
- Ensure quality standards are maintained for sourced materials.
- Conduct regular quality checks during cutting, stitching, finishing, and packing stages.
- Ensure garments meet company quality standards before dispatch.
- Identify defects, alterations, and production inconsistencies.
- Ensure final products match approved samples/specifications.
Preferred candidate profile
- Bachelors degree/Diploma in Apparel Production, Textile Design, or related field (preferred).
- 2+ years of experience in apparel production supervision.
- Robust proficiency in MS Excel (reports, basic formulas, data tracking).
- Good understanding of garment construction and production processes.
