Senior Bartender - Circa 11

Circa 11 is looking for an experienced Senior Bartender to join our bar team.

We are a premium, ingredient-led dining room in Indiranagar with a strong focus on cocktails, technique, thoughtful service and guest experience. We are looking for someone who understands both the craft of bartending and the discipline required to run a professional bar.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare and serve cocktails, spirits, wine and non-alcoholic beverages consistently according to recipes and SOPs
- Maintain high standards of taste, presentation, speed and cleanliness
- Handle bar opening and closing procedures
- Manage mise en place, batching, garnishes and daily preparation
- Maintain proper stock levels and assist with inventory and stock control
- Minimise wastage and ensure correct portioning
- Follow FIFO, hygiene and storage standards
- Maintain bar equipment, glassware and workstations
- Understand the cocktail menu thoroughly and confidently explain drinks to guests
- Recommend cocktails and beverages based on guest preferences
- Coordinate smoothly with the service and kitchen teams
- Assist in training junior bartenders and bar staff




- Follow billing, KOT and operational procedures correctly
- Participate in new cocktail trials, tastings and menu development when required
- Ensure responsible service of alcohol and professional guest handling at all times

What We’re Looking For

- Minimum 3 years of relevant bartending experience
- Strong knowledge of classic cocktails, spirits and basic wine service
- Good understanding of cocktail techniques, batching, infusions and bar prep
- Comfortable working in a busy, premium restaurant environment
- Strong communication and guest-interaction skills
- Well-groomed, organised and punctual
- Able to take responsibility and work independently during service
- Team-oriented with a positive and professional attitude
- Willing to learn and consistently follow Circa 11’s standards

Key

This is a hands-on senior bartender position, not only a supervisory role. The candidate should be comfortable working the bar during service while also taking ownership of prep, cleanliness, stock and standards.

Candidates with experience in premium cocktail bars, chef-led restaurants, luxury hotels or high-volume restaurants will be preferred.
