About the Role

We are seeking an experienced, target-driven Branch Manager to oversee daily branch operations, lead field teams, and drive sustainable portfolio growth in the microfinance sector. In this role, you will be responsible for end-to-end branch management, ensuring seamless loan disbursements, timely portfolio recovery, and strict compliance with organizational and regulatory guidelines.

Key Responsibilities & Scope of Work

The Branch Manager takes full ownership of business generation and team productivity across the branch's territory. You will lead, mentor, and monitor Customer Relationship Officers and Field Executives through daily morning huddles and evening closing reviews.



Core operational duties include conducting market surveys for recent village or cluster expansion, performing Group Recognition Tests (GRT) and customer verifications, and sanctioning loan applications in accordance with credit policies. You will actively manage portfolio health by supervising daily center collections, minimizing Portfolio at Risk (PAR), and directly intervening in overdue or non-starter accounts. Additionally, you will oversee branch administration, ensure timely MIS reporting and documentation, facilitate cashless disbursements, and coordinate closely with regional leadership.
