We are looking for a Backup Engineer – L1 to monitor backup infrastructure, troubleshoot backup failures, and support day-to-day backup and restore operations.
Key Responsibilities
Monitor daily backup jobs and storage systems.
Troubleshoot backup job failures and basic backup issues.
Perform backup and restore operations.
Monitor backup status and identify failures/anomalies.
Prepare backup reports and maintain operational documentation.
Escalate unresolved or complex issues to L2 teams.
Follow defined backup monitoring and incident management procedures.
