About the Role
We are looking for a hands-on Lead – Assets to build, scale, and manage the complete asset franchise of the NBFC.
The role will own the end-to-end lending lifecycle, including origination, credit, underwriting, portfolio management, collections, and recoveries, with a focus on building a high-quality, profitable, and diversified loan book while maintaining disciplined risk management.
Key Responsibilities
Lending & Execution
Drive loan origination across SME, MSME, Corporate, Retail, and Loan Against Securities (LAS) segments.
Develop and manage sourcing channels through:
OEMs and dealers
DSAs and channel partners
Direct client relationships
Strategic partnerships
Lead the complete credit lifecycle from customer acquisition and appraisal to underwriting, documentation, disbursement, and post-disbursement monitoring.
Own portfolio performance, including:
Disbursements
Portfolio yield
Collections
PAR
NPAs




Recoveries
Work closely with Credit, Operations, Legal, Risk, and Collections teams to ensure efficient execution and customer servicing.

Strategy – Build the Asset Franchise (0 → Scale)
Develop the end-to-end asset growth strategy aligned with the NBFC's business plans.
Identify high-potential customer segments, industries, and lending prospects.
Design scalable and commercially viable lending products.
Establish robust credit policies, underwriting standards, pricing frameworks, and risk scorecards.
Build a repeatable and data-driven origination engine.
Establish robust portfolio analytics, monitoring, and governance mechanisms.
Support the transition from a single-product lending platform to a diversified, multi-product asset business.
