Job Overview

We are looking for an experienced WAN / Android Telephony Developer with robust expertise in Android RIL, Telephony Framework, modem interfaces, and wireless communication technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in debugging, integration, testing, and performance optimization of telephony features for smartphone and tablet products.

Key Responsibilities
Develop, integrate, debug, and optimize Android RIL and Telephony Framework components.
Work on the interface between the Android platform and modem for smartphone and tablet products.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to VoLTE, VoWiFi, Voice, Call, SMS, and Data modules.
Perform Android platform debugging, integration, testing, and performance analysis.
Work closely with modem and chipset teams to identify and resolve device-level issues.
Analyze logs and debug issues using tools such as QXDM, QPST, QCAT, and other Android debugging tools.




Work on carrier-specific requirements and certification-related requirements for carriers such as AT&T;, Verizon, and others.
Understand and implement device-level requirements and carrier specifications.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including modem, BSP, Android framework, QA, and carrier certification teams.
Analyze and resolve complex issues across the Android framework, RIL, Telephony, and modem layers.

Required Skills
4–8 years of experience in Android RIL / Telephony / WAN development.
Strong hands-on experience with Android Telephony Framework and RIL.
Strong programming skills in Java, C, and C++.
Experience with Kotlin development.
Positive understanding of Android architecture and internals.
Hands-on experience with Android debugging and log analysis tools.
Experience with QXDM, QPST, QCAT, or similar Qualcomm debugging tools.
Robust understanding of VoLTE, VoWiFi, Voice, Call, SMS, and Data modules.
