Senior Data Modeler / Data Modeling Architect

Role Overview

We are looking for an experienced Senior Data Modeler / Data Modeling Architect to design, develop, and govern enterprise data models supporting large-scale data warehouse, analytics, and business intelligence initiatives.

The ideal candidate should have robust hands-on expertise in conceptual, logical, and physical data modeling, with excellent knowledge of ERwin, PowerDesigner, dimensional modeling, data warehousing, ETL, SQL, and cloud data platforms.

Key Responsibilities
Design and maintain Conceptual, Logical, and Physical Data Models for enterprise applications and analytical platforms.
Develop enterprise data models aligned with business requirements, data architecture, and organizational standards.
Create and maintain ER diagrams, entity relationships, attributes, keys, constraints, and data definitions.
Develop dimensional models, including Star and Snowflake schemas, for data warehouse and BI solutions.
Perform data modeling for OLTP, OLAP, Data Warehouse, and Data Lake settings.
Use ERwin and PowerDesigner for data modeling, model development, documentation, and repository management.




Analyze existing databases and applications to perform reverse engineering and model rationalization.
Work closely with business analysts, data architects, application teams, and data engineers to translate business requirements into effective data models.
Define data standards, naming conventions, relationships, and modeling guidelines.
Support ETL developers by providing accurate source-to-target mappings and data structures.
Review and optimize existing data models for performance, scalability, data quality, and maintainability.
Develop and maintain data dictionaries, metadata, business glossaries, and model documentation.
Work with SQL and relational databases to validate data structures and relationships.
Support data warehouse and BI teams in implementing dimensional models and analytical structures.
Contribute to cloud-based data modeling initiatives and migration projects.
Conduct model reviews and ensure adherence to enterprise data architecture and governance standards.
Lead data modeling initiatives and provide technical guidance to other data modelers and engineering teams.
