Role Overview
nWe're looking for a Website Engineering Lead to build and maintain high-performance WordPress websites. You'll work closely with developers to deliver website enhancements, review code, maintain engineering standards, and ensure reliable releases. You'll also partner with the Product, and Marketing teams to deliver website initiatives.
nKey Responsibilities

Build and maintain custom WordPress themes, plugins, and reusable componentsn
Develop solutions using WordPress APIs, hooks, filters, custom post types, taxonomies, metadata, REST APIs, and third-party integrationsn
Review code and ensure high standards for quality, security, performance, and maintainabilityn
Work with developers to plan, coordinate, and deliver website releasesn
Optimize website performance, Core Web Vitals, technical SEO, analytics, Salesforce integrations, and third-party servicesn
Support CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and production releasesn
Troubleshoot production issues and improve website reliabilityn
Collaborate with the Product,



Design, Marketing, and developers to deliver website enhancementsn

nRequired Skills & Experience
n
n
5–7 years of qualified experience developing WordPress applications using PHP (PHP 8+) with strong OOP knowledge n
Strong expertise in:n
Custom WordPress themes and pluginsn
WordPress hooks, filters, APIs, REST APIs, and Composern
Custom Post Types, Taxonomies, and Metadatan
JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and Vanilla JavaScriptn
Experience integrating Salesforce with WordPress using APIs or middlewaren
Experience optimizing website performance and Core Web Vitalsn
Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, and automated testingn
Valuable understanding of MySQL, Linux, caching, CDN, HTTP, website security, and API integrationsn
Robust debugging, problem-solving, communication, and documentation skillsn
