What Youll Be Doing (Position Summary):
nAs a Senior Business Intelligence Consultant, you will lead the modernization of business reporting and analytics at CIBC, partnering closely with the Analytics Head Office in Toronto and key business stakeholders.
nThis role sits within the business intelligence function and is focused on business reporting, dashboarding, analytics, and migration of business-owned reporting assets and logic to contemporary cloud-based settings. You will help transform legacy SAS/SQL reporting into scalable, business-ready reporting solutions using SQL, Python, and Power BI or Tableau.
nThis is not a backend ETL pipeline engineering role or a source-system data migration role. The primary focus is on management reporting, dashboard development, ad hoc analysis, reporting logic modernization, and business insight delivery.

nBusiness Partnership:

Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand reporting needs, define KPIs and metrics, and translate business questions into actionable reporting solutions.n
Act as a trusted advisor on reporting design, metric interpretation, and business insight delivery.n
Present findings, reporting logic, and recommendations clearly to business audiences.n
