Job Description
Position Summary:
nThe Application Developer supports and enhances business-critical manufacturing and quality systems used across Visy operations.
nThe role is responsible for application support, software development, project delivery, and continuous improvement of primarily .NET-based applications and related technologies. Working closely with operations, quality, and IT teams, the position ensures systems are reliable, secure, and aligned with business requirements.
nThe role operates with a high degree of autonomy, providing technical expertise while contributing to project outcomes and supporting day-to-day business operations.
nKey Responsibilities:
nSafety and Compliance:

Follow all safety policies and procedures.n
Support the reliable operation of systems that contribute to secure manufacturing operations.n
Identify, manage, and escalate operational, security, or compliance risks when required.n

nApplication Support and Development:
n
n
Provide Level 2 and Level 3 support for business-critical applications.n




Investigate and resolve incidents, defects, and system issues.n
Perform root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions.n
Develop, test, deploy, and support application enhancements and software changes.n
Maintain application configurations, master data, and technical documentation.n
Support and modernise legacy applications while contributing to future-state solutions.n

nProject Delivery:

Support the delivery of application development and improvement projects.n
Work with business stakeholders to gather and define requirements.n
Contribute to solution design, development, testing, deployment, and transition to support.n
Support project go-live activities and hyper care.n
Ensure project deliverables are completed within agreed timelines and quality standards.n
