Description
Experience Required: 3–5 years of experience in software testing, with robust domain expertise in payment systems and a deep understanding of critical payment rails to ensure Seamless Migration Assurance and end-to-end Quality Intelligence.

Required Skills & Qualifications:
Hands-on experience with BaNCS Payments module.
3–5 years of experience in software testing, with solid understanding of critical payment rails: SWIFT, SAMOS, CBPR+, SADC, FX.
Experience in manual testing and test case design.
Experience with test automation tools (e.g., Playwright, UFT, or similar).
Knowledge of cross-border payments, real-time gross settlement systems, and foreign exchange workflows.
Proficiency in defect tracking tools (e.g., JIRA, Octane).
Bachelor’s degree Engineering, or related field.

Understanding of SDLC, STLC, and migration testing methodologies
Key Responsibilities:
Develop detailed test cases based on functional and technical specifications.
Perform manual testing to validate system behavior across multiple payment rails.




Collaborate with automation teams to identify test cases suitable for automation.
Provide inputs for automation scripts and frameworks.
Validate the upgrade from BaNCS v10 to v14 ensuring zero disruption in payment flows.
Conduct end-to-end testing across integrated systems and interfaces.
Log, track, and verify defects using standard tools.
Work closely with developers and business analysts for timely resolutions.
Ensure compliance with quality standards, regulatory requirements, and best practices.
Provide insights and recommendations for improving test coverage and efficiency.
