Job Description
This is a full time, remote Project Manager role at dhoop. The Project Manager will oversee end-to-end planning and execution of projects that centre on food, sustainability, and culture, coordinating timelines, resources, and deliverables. Day-to-day tasks include managing project schedules, tracking milestones, and ensuring productive communication among internal teams, collaborators, and external vendors. The role involves coordinating logistics, monitoring progress, resolving issues, and conducting basic inspections or quality checks on deliverables to maintain project standards. The Project Manager will also document project outcomes, prepare status reports, and support continuous improvement of processes and workflows.

nIssue production and editorial workflow

Own the production calendar for each issue, from first drafts through edits, design and printn
Track status across contributors, editors and designers, and flag what's falling behindn
Coordinate final-stage tasks: style guide compliance, proofing rounds and print-readiness checksn





nTeam and freelancer coordination

Keep the wider Dhoop team and freelance contributors aligned on deadlines and deliverablesn
Maintain weekly status reports across active workstreamsn
Facilitate communication between contributors so nothing stalls waiting on a replyn

nDistribution and partner relations

Manage relationships with stockists and distribution partnersn
Coordinate shipping, logistics and restocking for print distributionn
Respond to recent stockist and partnership inquiries, and follow up on open conversationsn

nOperations, finance and admin

Support budgeting and tracking of studio costs, invoices and vendor paymentsn
Manage day-to-day studio operations and keep things running on schedulen
Assist with hiring and onboarding as the team growsn

nNew business
