Job Description - Laser Application Engineer/Sr Engineer

Experience: 2–8 Years

Location: Hosur and Gandhinagar

Industry: Laser Machinery

Key Responsibilities
Develop and optimize applications for Laser Cutting, Welding & Marking machines.
Conduct customer trials, sample testing, feasibility studies, and process demonstrations.
Develop laser parameters based on material, thickness, joint type, and application requirements.
Troubleshoot and improve cutting quality, weld quality, marking quality, and cycle time.
Support Sales, Service, R&D;, and customers for technical/application-related requirements.
Prepare trial reports, parameter sheets, and application documentation.
Visit customer sites for trials, machine commissioning, and process validation.

Required Skills
Hands-on experience with Laser Cutting / Welding / Marking applications.
Knowledge of fiber lasers, laser heads, optics, nozzles, lenses, and assist/shielding gases.
Positive understanding of materials and laser process parameters.
Robust troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Positive communication and customer-handling skills.
Willingness to travel to customer locations.
