We’re hiring a full time Cost Accountant to join Babco Foods. This is not a routine accounting role. We are looking for someone who can deeply understand pricing, margins, profitability, promotions, operational costs, and market dynamics, and help drive strategic business decisions across a rapid-growing international food distribution business.

nRequired Collaboration Hours: Mon-Fri 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. US Eastern Time
nExperience: 7–15 years

nCore Responsibilities

Own pricing analysis across products, customers, markets, logistics, and distribution channelsn




Track and analyze profitability drivers including freight, warehousing, packaging, sourcing, duties, and operational costsn
Build financial models and scenario analyses to support pricing decisions and growth initiativesn
Develop margin optimization strategies while ensuring sales competitiveness and affordabilityn
Create and monitor product-level, customer-level, and channel-level profitability reportingn
Partner with leadership and sales teams to develop promotional strategies and pricing initiativesn
Identify cost leakages, margin risks, and operational inefficienciesn
Support future expansion initiatives through forecasting, modeling, and financial analysisn

nHard Requirements
n
n
7+ years of cost accounting and profitability analysis experience in manufacturing, distribution, FMCG, food, or related industriesn
CMA (India) or equivalent qualified qualification require
