What’s unique about this role?
Search Consulting is a team of experts in linguistics, eDiscovery law and process, and legal technology. The team consults on and supports pre-review data minimization, maximizing cull rates, and applying technology and search expertise to optimize downstream review efficiencies. The Search Consultant contributes to the team’s goals by providing services such as keyword search term optimization, analyzing, iterating, and reporting on terms to clients, and data minimization pre-review.



This is a consultative role with the Search Consultant often communicating results and recommendations to counsel and clients, including, as necessary, on calls.

What will this person do?
Conducts analysis and application of technology to reduce data volumes pre-review
Contributes to development of workflow and SOP strategy and documentation
Conducts search consultation services with high accuracy and timeliness
Develops mastery of dtSearch syntax and relevant review platform features/functionality
Mentors less experienced team members
Performs other tasks as needed
Develops expertise in all standard search consultation services and QC protocols
Creates client-facing analyses, reports, and other deliverables
Develops holistic understanding of client contexts, needs, and motivations
Contributes to service management activities aimed at increasing knowledge, efficiency, and effectiveness of the Search team, such as:
