CBSE Physics Associate Teacher – Job Description

Position: Associate Teacher – Physics

Key Responsibilities
Teach Physics concepts according to the CBSE curriculum and NCERT syllabus.
Prepare and deliver engaging lesson plans, classroom activities, demonstrations, and experiments.
Explain theoretical concepts using practical examples and real-life applications.
Conduct and supervise Physics laboratory experiments while ensuring laboratory safety.
Prepare students for CBSE board examinations, periodic tests, practical examinations, and competitive examinations where applicable.
Prepare question papers, worksheets, assignments, quizzes, and other assessment materials.
Evaluate students' performance and provide constructive feedback.
Identify learning gaps and provide remedial support to students.
Maintain accurate records of attendance, assessment, practical work, and student progress.
Use digital teaching tools, presentations, simulations, and educational technology where appropriate.
Participate in parent-teacher meetings and communicate students' academic progress.




Collaborate with the Physics department and other teachers in academic planning and school activities.
Participate in career development programmes, workshops, seminars, and CBSE-related training.
Maintain a positive, inclusive, and disciplined classroom workplace.

Required Qualifications
B.Sc. with Physics, depending on the school's recruitment requirements.
B.Ed. or equivalent teacher-training qualification, as applicable to the position.
Familiarity with the CBSE curriculum, NCERT textbooks, and assessment practices.
Good communication and classroom-management skills.
Proficiency in using computers and digital teaching platforms.

Preferred Skills
Solid conceptual knowledge of Physics.
Ability to make difficult concepts simple and engaging.
Good laboratory and experimental skills.
Student-centred teaching approach.
Ability to prepare high-quality academic resources and assessments.
Teamwork, professionalism, patience, and effective communication.

Pay: ₹20,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
