Job Summary
Kannur Medical College is seeking a skilled and responsible Endoscopy Technician to assist doctors during endoscopic procedures and ensure proper preparation, handling, and maintenance of endoscopy equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare the endoscopy room, equipment, and required instruments before procedures.
Assist doctors and nursing staff during endoscopic procedures.
Handle, clean, disinfect, and sterilize endoscopy instruments as per hospital protocols.
Monitor and maintain endoscopy equipment and accessories.
Ensure availability of required consumables and instruments.
Follow infection control and patient safety protocols.
Assist with patient preparation and post-procedure care.
Maintain procedure records, equipment logs,
and related documentation.
Report equipment issues or abnormalities to the concerned department.
Qualification
Diploma/B.Sc. in Operation Theatre Technology, Endoscopy Technology, or a relevant healthcare field.
Relevant experience in an endoscopy unit will be an advantage.
Freshers with relevant qualifications may also apply.
